Run brings in charity cash
The runners from Henshalls who took part in this year’s Race for Life
Fourteen staff from Henshalls put their best foot forward to raise vital charity cash by taking part in this year’s Race for Life at Weston Park.
Ann Deeley, who led the team, ran the race for the fourth time this year, and was delighted when colleagues agreed to join her.
“We had our very own personal trainer, my daughter Lucy, and we trained twice a week.
“Lucy actually finished 9th out of 5000 ladies who took part, and our very own Debbie Cassidy came in close behind in 10th place.
“So far we have raised over £700 and there is still more cash to come in, so we’d like to thank everyone who sponsored us for their generous support.”
