Milestone for Henshalls staff
Nine employees at a Shropshire insurance brokers have clocked up over 180 years of loyal service between them.
The group from Henshalls Insurance Brokers, in Newport and Shrewsbury, have all completed over 20 years with the firm, and have been praised by the management team for their dedication.
Financial Director, Mark Freeman, who is one of the long service staff himself, said the impressive milestone was testimony to the company's approach to business.
"We are extremely proud of all our staff, and the commitment shown by Henshalls employees is amazing.
"All nine of us have spent over two decades building strong relationships with our customers, ensuring that we deliver the highest standards of service at all times.
"And the loyalty we have shown to the company is echoed by the loyalty shown by our clients, many of whom come back to us year on year as they appreciate the fact they can deal with the same people who know them well."
As well as Mark, the other long service staff are: Tony Conlon, Linda Patterson, Don Meeson, Angela Fowles, Bryan Cutter, Martin Pitchford, Shirley Woodward and Carol Mcewan.
Mark said Henshalls had experienced an extremely low rate of staff turnover since it was launched over 40 years' ago.
"The vast majority of our staff are all local and we're very pleased to have such a strong team at both our offices."
