Local Broker warns businesses about the hidden damages of cost cutting

Shropshire firm Henshalls Insurance Brokers warn businesses against cost cutting by reducing their levels of risk management and insurance cover as a direct result of the recession.
David Williams Marketing Director said:
"We are concerned that, due to financial pressures, some businesses are cost cutting by reducing levels of cover on their commercial and motor insurance".
"This action could leave businesses exposed and lead to problems, should the need to claim arise. They are also in danger of compromising policy conditions or warranties. It is very important that we work closely with our customers to ensure that they remain fully protected despite these tough economic times. Should a disaster occur, the business owner needs his insurance broker and Insurer on side, to ensure the business recovers. Statistics show that many businesses fail following a serious fire or other incident, due to insurance cover being inadequate.".
