Jenny Osborne who has taken up a new role at Henshalls in Shrewsbury
A Shrewsbury woman has returned to her roots to take up a new role with a well-known insurance brokers in the county town.
Jenny Osborne previously worked at the Newport offices of Henshalls Insurance Brokers for over 10 years, and she has now relocated to the firm's Shrewsbury office, in Old Potts Way.
"I'm very excited to be starting a new chapter of my career with Henshalls in the firm's newest office, and I'm looking forward to working in the town where I was born and where I live," said Jenny.
"It's a brand new team in Shrewsbury, and it's a great challenge to be building relationships with a completely different set of clients."
Jenny has many years' experience as an underwriter, and is also a registered insurance broker.
After 16 years as a commercial underwriter with Royal Insurance, she began her Henshalls career in 1997 working as an account handler, before taking on an external commercial role.
Henshalls Director Dave Williams said Jenny's move to the Shrewsbury office came as a direct result of her assured and dedicated performance over the last decade in Newport.
"Jenny is highly respected in the industry, and her commitment to our clients and to the company has been excellent.
"We're sure she will tackle her new role with confidence and help us to build on the strong start we've made in developing new business relationships in Shrewsbury and the wider Shropshire area."
