Anniversary success

More than 40 guests helped a leading Shropshire insurance broker to celebrate the first year of trading at their latest office.
Henshalls Insurance Brokers, which has been established for over 40 years in Newport, also now has premises in Old Potts Way, in Shrewsbury.
And staff at the county town branch welcomed guests from all over the local area to mark the anniversary.
Marketing Director David Williams said: "We wanted to thank everyone who has supported us during our first year in our Shrewsbury office, and to celebrate a successful 12 months in the town, despite such difficult economic conditions.
"It was a very special occasion, and the event gave us the opportunity to welcome existing and potential clients, to explain more about the services we can offer."
David said Henshalls was committed to an ongoing programme of expansion and development, and the opening of the Shrewsbury office was a key milestone in the company's strategic plan.
"We wanted to build on the strong reputation we have established through our Newport office, and opening another branch shows the confidence we have in the local market.
"We are working hard to ensure our business continues to grow in all areas, to make sure we are ahead of the game when the challenging trading times have passed."
Henshalls is one of Shropshire's largest independent insurance firms, and employs a team of 30 staff.
It offers business insurance products providing essential cover for small to medium sized companies, and a range of personal insurance polices to cover all kinds of domestic situations.
