Anniversary milestone for Henshalls

Directors and staff at a Shropshire insurance brokers have celebrated an important milestone.
Henshalls Insurance Brokers, in Newport and Shrewsbury, was founded in 1967 by John Henshall.
And Directors Tony Conlon, Mark Freeman, Bryan Cutter and Martin Pitchford acquired the company through a management buyout exactly ten years' ago.
"We're delighted to have completed a decade of success since the buyout, and the company continues to go from strength to strength," said Managing Director Mark Freeman.
Since the buyout, two more directors have joined the management team - Dave Williams and Anthony Hughes - and the company is now wholly owned by all six directors.
"As one of Shropshire's largest independent insurance firms, we have established strong business relationships with clients all over the local area, and the opening of our Shrewsbury office has created a whole new range of business opportunities," said Mark.
"We are also committed to supporting local events and organisations, particularly in the Newport area where many of our 30-strong staff live."
Their dedication to the community is clear as directors hold and have held many posts in local organisations from the boards of Telford Business Against Crime, West Mercia Crimestoppers and business watches, to charities, chambers of commerce, Round Table, school governors, and sports clubs.
Henshalls deals with insurance cover aimed at small to medium sized businesses, and with personal insurance cover too.
